Field hockey isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. For our founder, Cindy O’Donnell, that passion ignited at ten years old. From High School All-Star and State Champion to Rutgers University player, youth coach, camp director, fitness trainer, with a business background Cindy’s life has been defined by the sport.

 

The spark for TREND Field Hockey happened during a Level 1 coaching certification. The instructor handed Cindy a modern, high-carbon stick with a specialized bow and suggested she try it out. Playing in her local league that week, she was blown away by how the technology instantly elevated her game. It was a true "aha!" moment.

When premier Dutch field hockey brands looking for USA distribution reached out shortly after, Cindy didn't see a coincidence—she saw an opportunity. She realized American players deserved direct access to top-tier, stylishly designed sticks tailored to their playing styles with knowledgeable staff to direct them.
